ATEMdirector

If you podcast solo, you've hit this problem: switching cameras naturally based on who's talking requires a camera operator. And most lean, independent podcasters can't afford one.

I built ATEMdirector for that exact situation. It connects your Blackmagic ATEM Mini to your Stream Deck — so your most-used controls are one button press away. But the part I'm most excited about is the automatic camera switching: a feature that usually only comes with expensive broadcast setups. A script that listens to who's speaking and cuts to the right camera, with enough variables to make it feel considered rather than mechanical.

Produced the independent feature film directed by Luz Orlando Brennan — officially selected by INCAA and distributed by Flow. The film follows Norma Reyes (76), a veteran actress desperate to work, who accepts a minor role in a commercial play while her daughter announces she is leaving home. Selected at BAFICI, Cleveland, SANFIC, FAM Brazil, and awarded Best Narrative Picture at Spokane 2025 and Cine Las Americas 2025, Best Director & Leading Actress at Chelsea 2025, and Best Leading Actress at Imago 2025.
